Visiting Parrot World

The park showcases South America and its iconic wildlife. More than 600 animals live here, including 350 free-flying birds. You can see giant otters, jaguars, parrots, Humboldt penguins, capybaras, rheas and many more.

Allow at least half a day, and ideally a full day. Parrot World is not like other zoos: it is an immersive park where you step into the animals' own space. Take your time to stop, look around, observe, and look up regularly to watch the birds fly.

Depending on the season, up to 12 different encounters led by our educational guides take place throughout the day, which adds up to 3 to 4 hours of activities included in your ticket. Add the Radeau des Cimes (our giant playground), the Ranch des Enfants (the petting farm) and the covered Hall de la Biodiversité: many visitors stay from opening to closing time without noticing the hours go by.

For lunch, you have two options. In the heart of the park, the Camp de Base and the Carbet Manger are designed for a quick 30-minute lunch before the next activity. For a proper sit-down meal, our restaurant Le Panoramic is a 3-minute walk from the entrance, facing the alpacas: bistronomic cuisine, fresh produce and a view of the animals. Book your table at Le Panoramic. It also serves dinner in the evening, after the park closes.

There are no animal shows at the park, but educational activities instead: our guides present some of the park's emblematic species while they are being fed. It is a great way to learn more about the animals and the threats their species face in the wild.

There is no greenhouse at Parrot World: the giant aviary covers 1 hectare in the open air, and most of the visit takes place outdoors. If it rains, there are several places to shelter, including the two food areas (the Camp de Base and the Carbet-Manger) and the covered Hall de la Biodiversité. Remember to check the weather forecast before your visit.

Yes, parking is completely free for park visitors, and it is covered.

Please go to the park reception desk when you want to leave, and we will give you a wristband.

You do not need to book. However, we recommend buying your tickets online for busy days. Take a screenshot or download your tickets before your visit, as the mobile signal can be weak inside the building.

Yes, you can leave the park and come back in on the same day. Just go to the reception desk and show your ticket for the day.

For the safety of the animals and visitors, wheeled devices of any kind (roller skates, scooters, skateboards, bikes, etc.) are not allowed in the park.

Yes, there is a smoking area next to the toilets, opposite the entrance to the giant aviary.

Pets are not allowed, except for assistance dogs.

The following items are not allowed in the park: balloons, sharp objects, weapons, selfie sticks and drones.

You can park your camper van during the day, but overnight parking is not allowed in the park car park.
