No, that’s one of the great things about this activity: your child participates on their own, without needing an adult chaperone. Meanwhile, parents are free to explore the park. The activity takes place in small groups led by a professional animal zookeeper from the park.
"Junior Zookeeper" is for children ages 7 to 11 and takes place in the morning (10:30 AM to 12:30 PM); no adult chaperone is required. "Zookeeper for a Day" is for adults and children ages 8 and up accompanied by an adult, and takes place in the afternoon. The animals you’ll meet are also different.
The activity lasts one morning, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (2 hours). It includes preparing meals, distributing food, maintaining the grounds, and observing the animals’ behavior. A day pass to visit the rest of the park is included in the price.
Children get to care for the animals at the Children's Ranch and the capybaras: alpacas, dwarf goats, coatis, parakeets, and capybaras—the world's largest rodents. These animals are particularly well-suited for young children, as they are gentle and endearing.
Yes, gift certificates are available for the "Junior Zookeeper" activity. It’s a unique gift idea for children who love animals, perfect for a birthday or any other occasion. Available online or at the park’s ticket office.
