Natürlicher Lebensraum
Man findet ihn vor allem in trockenen Bergregionen, Tropenwäldern, Galeriewäldern, Kiefern- und Eichenwäldern in Höhenlagen von 600 bis 2.600 m.
Je nach Jahreszeit ist er in Feuchtwäldern, Dornwäldern und anderen Lebensräumen in den Ebenen zu beobachten.
Seine lokale Verbreitung wird durch seine Vorliebe für Felswände als Rast- und Nistplätze bestimmt.
